Ethics in remote viewing

The ethics involved in remote viewing and other uses of psi have always been a topic of concern and interest. This document is a look at one of many such internal government memos on the subject. This particular document can be located on volume G of the archive set as well as attached to this post. (It is file 11808 for those of you who have the Star Gate Interactive Archive set).

The purpose of the memo is:

Purpose: To provide the status of DIA’s participation in the conduct or support of intramural or extramural human subject research.
And the discussion begins like this:

“a. A thorough review by all elements of the DIA has determined that only one program (Project Star Gate) falls within the definition of the human subject research. This research is conducted in two areas: in-house research activities conducted by DIA civilian personnel and external research activities conducted under DIA contract with the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).”

As a bonus, I’ve pulled a random file from the archive. It turns out to be one with a rarely used word: “File 9995 A list of papers from The Chinese Society for Anthroposomatology: The Third National Conference on Academic Exchange in Anthroposomatology”
